Live from the Coffee Shop

Okay, not the coffee shop I'm at today, but you get the idea.

Last week I put a recurring appointment on my calendar: Writing Apt, each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 1-3pm.  Today I did everything I could for chores until about noon and then finished up some stuff and got ready to go.  And then I packed my laptop and left.

Pretty exciting play-by-play, right?  Well, the exciting part is that I actually did it.  Set some dedicated time away to write.  After all, I did have a dream that when I worked really hard at my book, it all fell into place and was quickly done.
