Sometime in the last few days, Knitting by Faith sold its 1,000th copy. I am pretty amazed at how this little book has done. A little less than a year ago I agonized over letting it go and hitting the "publish" button on amazon.
I had hopes that it would sell a couple hundred copies and get some nice reviews. These hopes have been surpassed. There is no secret to this book's success other than writing the best book I could and then editing the life out of it (though there's still a few mistakes in it). And then telling my friends and family that the book was out.
How many knitters of faith have a kindle or kindle app? Quite a lot actually. It's one of the best combinations in a person, in my humble opinion.
