And First Draft is Done.

Get everyone together and celebrate!

I wrote a meandering chapter, then another and then looked at my list of chapter ideas.  None of them had any content to write about anymore, most of the subjects had already been incorporated into other chapters.  So I sat there, a bit surprised because suddenly, my first draft is done.

This is a surprising turn of events because I thought there were a few more chapters to go and I wouldn't be done until the end of the month.  Also surprising because I'm not sure about the chapters I've written.  I was hoping for a few more writing sessions with "aha" moments in them.  This means that there's a lot more work in the next few drafts.

The bones are now in a jumble in a box.  Now I need to sort them out and see what animal takes shape.
